You may be cool but you'll never be 'fire up a doobie in front of the cops' cool

As his grandparents lay slain inside the home, a Texas murder suspect “calmly” lit up a marijuana cigarette in front of cops, opened a soda can, and said nothing about the couple being dead, according to Austin police.

In an unprecedented case report, doctors in Austria have documented the first known instance of psilocybin-induced penile amputation. After consuming a large quantity of magic mushrooms, a 37-year-old man suffering from depression and alcohol abuse severed his penis with an axe. Fortunately, doctors were able to reattach part of the amputated organ. The unique case is detailed in the Mega Journal of Surgery.

Etta May: The Queen of Southern Sass

Something a little different tonight - Stand up comedy instead of music.

VIDEO HERE  (47:57 minutes)

About Etta May:

Born and in Bald Knob, Arkansas, Etta May grew up alongside nine older brothers, who referred to their baby sister as “the human sacrifice.” Etta May’s parents - her father, a potpourri farmer, and her mother, bedridden by constant childbearing - didn’t realize she was a girl until she needed a training bra.

She met her husband, Delbert, an aspiring truck driver, at a friend’s kegger. From across the yard, their eyes locked in a loving look, you know that stare that lasts a moment too long. Nine months later, she was blessed with a boy, and three more kids followed. “That’s where my comedy comes from. I just wait for my husband or kids to do something stupid, and then I write it down.”

Before finding success as a stand-up comic, Etta wandered from dead-end job to dead-end job, including a 10-year stint as a school bus driver. She says she learned how to handle unruly kids by Armor-Alling the seats and slamming on the brakes all the way to school. Her theory: “Kind of hard to pick a fight with the kid in front of you when you’re just holding on for dear life.”

Then she decided to take a chance on herself and follow her dream. Lots of hard work and drive, and a few years later, she wins “Female Comic Of The Year” at the American Comedy Awards. It’s the American Story we are all told that you can become anything you set your mind to in this great country, and for Etta May, it worked!

Judge Shauna Boliker detained Blakemore, saying he “brought a gun to a fistfight” and “blindsided” the other man “with the intention of shooting and taking his life.”

SpaceX Engineer In North Carolina Has Dire Warning: Biden-Harris' FEMA "Actively Blocking Shipments" For Relief

A shocking firsthand account from a SpaceX engineer in storm-battered North Carolina reveals that Biden-Harris' Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) blocked shipments of critical goods for relief efforts into the region. There have been numerous reports this week of FEMA actively hindering relief efforts in the western part of the state, including threatening private helicopter pilots with arrests for conducting rescue missions. We also learned that the Biden-Harris administration drained FEMA funds to support illegal aliens, prioritizing non-citizens (future voters) over American citizens.

The Last Combat Mission of Cobra 327

VIDEO HERE  (30:53 minutes)

By the beginning of 1971, the United States was in the throes of Vietnamization, the Nixon Administration’s push to end U.S. involvement in the Vietnam War. Its objective was to equip and train South Vietnamese forces for an ever-increasing combat role while simultaneously reducing the number of U.S. combat troops.

At that time, 24-year-old Oklahoma native David Stinson was a U.S. Army first lieutenant who had been “in country” for seven months. He was assigned to C Troop in the 7th Squadron of 17th Air Cavalry as a combat pilot flying the venerable AH-1 Cobra attack helicopter. His unit had recently moved from An Khe in the Central Highlands of South Vietnam to Lane Army Airfield, just outside the city of Qui Nhon.

Within just a few weeks, he would find himself at the heart of a massive, highly secret, and exceptionally dangerous operation that would take the fight across the South Vietnam border into neighboring Laos. The journey would take David — and the rugged Cobra gunship he was flying — through a series of extraordinary events, testing the mettle of both man and machine, pushing both to their limits.

FEMA is slowing down hurricane recovery

ST. PETERSBURG, Fla. — It's a common sight in neighborhoods across the Tampa Bay area, debris from Helene piled up along the curb.

It's a complicated process that will take months to clear just in Pinellas County alone. The process is delayed for many because of strict rules from FEMA.

Kamala’s Comments After Heller Decision Raise Questions Media Won’t Ask Her

“A recently unearthed video gives us some valuable insight into exactly who Kamala Harris is and what she really believes,” Second Amendment attorney Kostas Moros reported Friday in Shooting News Weekly. “The date was June 28, 2008 and anti-gun politicians were reeling from the announcement of the Supreme Court’s Heller decision guaranteeing an individual right to keep and bear arms. They could see what it meant for gun control laws on the books in cities all over the country and they weren’t happy about it.”

Moros, described by the California Rifle and Pistol Association as “a warrior for the Second Amendment,” transcribed what then-San Francisco DA Harris said as she bemoaned the decision and focused on infringements that would still be exploited:

FEMA whistleblower details 'waste' of taxpayer funds and staff waiting in hotels during Hurricane Helene

FEMA withheld pre-disaster money before Hurricane Helene and has been painfully slow in giving first responders deployment orders, multiple whistleblowers allege in a damning new letter.

The bombshell allegations of mismanagement at the Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) come just days after the agency took a beating for its boss Alejandro Mayorkas admitting it will not be able to foot the bill for this historic hurricane season.

Now a whistleblower from FEMA, including others on the state and local level are telling Rep. Matt Gaetz, R-Fla., that the department has wasted and misappropriated funds in the wake of Helene, which is 'exacerbating the emergency.'

Universities Secretly Take Billions in Foreign ‘Ghost Dollars’: Report

American colleges and universities are accepting billions of dollars in foreign money without reporting it, according to a new report.

The National Association of Scholars released the report, which says that taking money from foreign governments and organizations without reporting it has become commonplace among American universities.

“Higher education is awash with conflicting interests,” said NAS Fellow and report author Neetu Arnold, who added that universities “search for partnerships and grants abroad, sometimes from adversarial governments.”

Mayorkas Says FEMA Will Run Out of Funds Before Hurricane Season is Over; Agency Spent $640.9 Million on Noncitizens in 2024

The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) has spent more than $600 million of available funds to serve noncitizen migrants in fiscal year 2024, and now, according to Homeland Security Secretary Alejandro Mayorkas, the agency doesn’t have enough funding left over to make it through the rest of the hurricane season.
